I was once, long long ago, told that the large card is not the "official proof of training".  I forget if it was at HPD or a gun store but i had to return with the little card.  I have always used the small card after that.   ???
Just replaced the card at DLNR  for $5 to be on the safe side.

I never had to show it at any LGS I've been to. Maybe I'll just carry it when shopping for a handgun next time just in case.

I've used either, good to go..  ymmv due to the whims of hpd firearms section...
Thanks I'll give it a try and see what happens.

I lost my wallet sized hunter's ed card and now have the large sized certificate only. Is it okay to use the large certificate to apply for a handgun permit to acquire at HPD? I have only used the small wallet card in the past.

I know DNLR can replace it for a fee but wondering if I don't need to since I still have the large card.

Thanks in advance.

I would like to know of the Hawaii Hunter's Education  certificate is accepted as proper firearm competence training when applying for an AZ non-resident CCW permit.

The course is provided by the state's Department of Land and Natural Resources.  Here is their information.

Anyone with a AZ non resident permit know if the HI hunter's edu card is good for the training requirements? I submitted a NY hunter's edu card which had had a live fire portion but it wasn't accepted. AZ sent the application back to me saying they stop taking the NY hunter's ed card in 2012.

I've used Danger Close Tactical multiple times for transfers. Service was always first class.

If not, will they allow setting the gong on just a single post?  (look like a street sign)

I've seen a guy set a 10" plate on a hook off of a 2x4 at 100. So I think this is good to go.

Went in at about 9:30 and was out in 35 minutes to register a long gun. Hpd had an officer outside the room expediting which made it pretty quick.
