He was spotted driving a Honda Element, also folks from the WP management showed me some literature that was given to them by Haitsuka. I took some pictures of it to add to the file.

I interviewed a few people he’s had recent dealings with and encouraged them to pursue legal and law enforcement options against Haitsuka.

It’s just shocking that he keeps getting money and suckering people. I’m equally shocked that he keeps banging his head against the firearms wall here. His name is CRAP here in the gun community.

I’ve also heard a few interesting things that he claims about himself. According to 2 different people I interviewed last year, Haitsuka has told them that:

- he has experience providing support for the Secret Service and US Marahals
- he has been a process server and yet no other process servers heard of him OTHER than saying they recall SERVING him on several occasions and that he’s a slippery fish
- he is a countersniper for the US Air Force and claims to be a Command Chief Master Sergeant but he calls it “Command Master Sergeant” online without the “CHIEF” which indicates he doesn’t even know the rank structure.
- he met and went jaw to jaw with POTUS G W Bush
- claims he’s buried people in the foothills above or below Makua caves
- claims he has in his possession automatic firearms stolen from the US Military in storage

Next step is checking on his actual military service. I suspect there’s a stolen valor angle here or at least, fraud on his part in misleading people about his service history.

It’s just astounding that ATF keeps granting him licenses without fully checking on him.

But what’s astounding is how USELESS the Deputy Prosecutors and Honolulu PD have been in helping the claimants in this case. I advised them that because of the recent corruption cases with HPD and the City Prosecutors offices, to go straight to the feds with other charges that might stick.

There’s also someone I interviewed from the inside who claims that Haitsuka had or has relatives in the Sheriffs Department and HPD who have helped him:

- access license plate info
- make evidence disappear
- make potential charges against him disappear
- give him what one person called, “the skinny” on any potential charges against him and get intel on those people to take preventive action against them

It was also told to me that he uses a device that masks his phone number and he’s made threatening calls to many people in the past.

He’s also made vague threats against people in Texas my beloved home. He’s not smart in some ways but very sly in other ways.

Cursory check revealed that there are two collection accounts associated with Haitsuka, Darin H. One is a linked back to a gun and firearms accessory distributor back on the mainland.

There may be some locally but I don't have those connections here. Yet.

Some of the wild claims that Haitsuka had told to some folks, counter sniper presidential detail, cleanup of Baton Rouge after Katrina and support of LA-NG, support US Marshals Service for APEC conference, and COMMAND MASTER SERGEANT in the USAF. Also claims three branches of service and chest full of medals that covers 80% of his chest. This mirrors the Stolen Valor angle I mentioned earlier.

Humorous anecdote from a military serviceman and his wife who took a class of his last year, "after claiming he was E9 USAF, during a break in the (Hawaii firearms?) class, (he) was telling us a hypothetical situation what if someone accosted him (for example) in Utah or a state having reciprocity with Utah (since he is or was a qualified Utah CCW instructor which he LOST for some unexplained reason?, 'time to go DEFCON FIVE on (whoevers) a**,' he got it WRONG, should be DEFCON ONE."

"My buddy and I looked at each other and shrugged, this guys not for real huh?"

A command E9 should know DEFCON. A REAL E9 couldn't possibly get it wrong and confused. it's been established for DECADES.

He also mentioned something about the knives he carried as backup, "better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6," and the empty pistol Magazine and handcuffs he carries sometimes to draw attention to himself as a POTENTIAL LEO without actually being one or mistaken for active shooter if something goes down. "Cops will see the rig (handcuffs and empty pistol mags) from behind and hopefully I won't get downed by friendlies (friendly fire in the event of actual live shooter incident)."

The guy telling me the story and I laughed out loud. I've now made this a personal mission and have dedicated hours of my own time, off work, to research this loser and his insane stories. I've also been in touch with others and been convincing them to go forward to HPD, as there's real fraud involved with this Darin Hisao Haitsuka fella.

We saw the MCH vehicle pass but didn't think to take a pic, we didn't want to stop too long or draw attention to ourselves especially since he doesn't know us.

He's got stickers from Sheriffs etc but those can be bogus.

I've heard but haven't checked yet, that he has a dependants card and his claims of prior military service are greatly exaggerated. This could be something the Stolen Valor folks might want to look at, especially if he may be lying about either having the legal right as a dependant (not really married to a service member), or lying about his service. Folks I talked to from Waterfront and elsewhere indicated his wild claims of military service include sniper instructor and counterinsurgency.

If even half the claims about him are true then he has a predilection for fraud and will do anything to get money and or benefits. He may already be defrauding the government. It's already working hours Monday morning on the East Coast and I've already notified a few folks who "need to know". Stay frosty friends, and stay tuned to this channel.

How does this joker have base access? I was on MCBH for a meeting and saw him and his son in the white Dodge Durango RTC ### just passing the gas station and heading into post. I had my buddy hang back, spin around and follow him, he drove over and he parked at the MCX. It was definitely him, wearing his orange and white plaid 5.11 shirt and black tactical pants. As we passed I took a picture of his truck. It's pretty messed up like he lives out of it.

I am not authorized to give any details, but I will tell you this and it is very serious, if you have given your personal information to Mr. Haitsuka at anytime in the past, for example payment information, credit card number, your home address, birthdate, (i.e. you've taken a class from him? Given him your phone number and email address?) I would suggest very strongly that you monitor your credit report, and possibly even take the next step and report to the federal trade commission that your ID may be compromised in the event that something unusual appears on your credit report, or if you notice odd charges on your credit card(s).

File a report ASAP with Honolulu Police Department Financial Crimes Division, get in touch with the local FBI Special Agent, and also importantly, report this guys activity to the NRA so they can possibly remove him as an instructor.

He has or had instructor status in multiple disciplines and he needs to lose that, as well as any future access to firearms for the rest of his life.

There are several investigations moving forward just to inform y'all, however the status is confidential.

On that note I had an interesting lunch with some people from Waterfront Plaza and some of the former vendors of Hawaii On Target which shed new light on things that happened there. The information these people provided (by their PERMISSION) is also now part of ONE of the aforementioned investigations.

Justice is slow, the Hawaii system is also corrupted internally as I've discovered, but Mr Darin Hisao Haitsuka (no mistaking him for the cousin here) no longer has HPD and State Sheriffs connections, and I'm confident something will happen very soon.

Update: a host of creditors are looking for Mr Darin Hisao Haitsuka. You can't stiff vendors out of tens of thousands of dollars without expecting some kind of legal reprisal. The gun community is large but also very small in that word spreads as to a persons or a company's reputation.

He could face some charges under your Hawaiian law.

In short if you have something to report, anything from shady business practices to downright theft on the part of Mr Haitsuka, report it ASAP.

General Discussion / Hawaii On Target is definitely closed.
« on: June 30, 2016, 06:22:28 AM »
Went with my surveillance equipment to try capture them on camera (i.e. if they were hastily moving out, or at least capture their images), but they're closed for sure. There's "for lease" signs up on the window. Even the security guards in the parking structure didn't know for sure if they were opened, closed, or what.

I wonder if there's a national database that tracks people and businesses who have written bad checks? Someone should compile all the bad checks written by Haitsuka as the owner of Hawaii on Target, or 2nd Nature Defense Concepts. If it's tens of thousands of dollars, it's downright CRIMINAL.

From reading the posts, I'm sure there are lots of folks who have ordered stuff or given Haitsuka money, and just haven't gotten word about Hawaii on Target going belly up yet. If he's been taking your money and never intended to order anything because he's been using NEW MONEY to pay his OLD DEBT, that's just got the stench of Ponzi scheme written all over it. At very least it's THEFT and FRAUD.

Spread the word, and encourage them to file police reports.
