Starbucks does not want to be involved in this debate, and have repeatedly asked to not be a staging ground for any political gathering. So I will continue to buy their products abut avoid them on Saturday.
I feel exactly opposite about Saturday. No anti-gun Liberal believes the majority of Americans are AGAINST their proposed gun laws/bans. Obama and the Lib parrots keep repeating 80% of Americans want "common sense" restrictions added to gun sales/registrations, even though that number has been proven to be totally inflated and based on no real facts.
Taking a moment to support a business which actually understands the right of law-abiding citizens to bear arms should be applauded. SB is abiding by whichever state's laws they fall under and avoiding the appearance of having a PRO or ANTI opinion. Laws are laws, and rights are rights. SB refuses to support an agenda that is in opposition to the Constitution and the law.
I think more businesses across the country will do the same if people (you and me included) show support for their rational and
common sense approach to this important issue.
You are absolutely free to choose to avoid SB on Saturday. Maybe you are jealous of other states because they can carry a firearm to SB on Saturday and we can't? To me, avoiding SB sends the wrong message to the public. We need to support these businesses, or else they may buckle under the perceived power of the anti-gun advocates.
I personally hope StarBucks reports record sales on Saturday!
