Some of my favorite 2nd Amendment rights quotes come from people you probably wouldn't associate with being pro-gun. But with part of the 2nd Amendment being to protect the citizens of this nation from tyranny, both foreign and domesitic, some of the more notable peace lovers would also support the right to own firearms.

This verse prove that even Christ himself believe in the concept of self defense.  A lot of religious leaders today portray Christ as being a pacifist when it comes to self defense which is wrong.  There's another instance also when the soldiers tried to arrest Him, and Peter drew his sword and cut one of the guys ear and Jesus told him to put his sword back to it's sheath not get rid of it.  Another proof that Jesus and the apostles carry weapons.  See John 18: 10-11 KJV.
