Tribal lands (reservations) are under the jurisdiction of the Tribal Council (which determine the laws for themselves), any crimes on their property is their domain.  Tribal members committing crimes off reservation are subject to state and/or federal penalties.  However, there are no "reservations" or specifically delineated "tribal lands" in the state of Hawaii....so unless THAT happens and there is a "Tribal Council" with authoritative jurisdiction....No.  On the mainland for instance, fireworks aren't always available ....except on reservation where you can buy anything you want.  Tobacco sales are without the federal taxes added on, same as gas purchases.  If the (whatever tribe/nation) Tribal Council says everyone can own a Barrett .50, then it can happen, they just have to work out the logistics of getting them onto the reservation with the state patrol and attorney general......with the stipulation that (if not legal within the state) that they can only be owned and used on reservation property with no sale to non-residents (likely mandated by the AG).

Wouldn't you have to keep your non-compliant Hawaii firearms on Tribal land, though? Once you set foot off of the reservation with your NFA guns, you'd be committing a crime, right? So that means you'd have to rent some sort of storage facility on the reservation, if you weren't a member of the tribe.

If you aren't a member of the tribe, you won't be allowed to buy them in the first place ....  so ... no.
