I found that Amazon.com had a great deal on a UTG 5th Gen Quick Detachable Double Rail AK Side Mount and UTG AK Collapsible Stock Combo Kit through their warehouse deals section so I picked those up. I'm excited about the buttstock adapter because you can mount any AR buttstock to it. It really opens up the possibilities.

For those not familiar with the warehouse deals, Amazom will sell the items that people have returned for a little discount and you can find them through the new & used link on the side of the page.

The buttstock looks like it's in great shape and hasn't been touched but the side mount was slightly bent like someone over tightened the screw. I could have returned it but it was easy enough to bend back.





Next on the list is the pistol grip and the fire control group then onto the workbench.

How low does it sit?

Does it co witness?

I did test mount it. It sits right over the dust cover right in line with the iron sights so no co-witness. If you do need to remove the optic though, it is very quick to detach.
