Laws on Flare Launchers

Okay so what's the legal implications on flare launchers? I noticed there are a old surplus flare launchers like the HK P2A1 and some Polish ones, as well as 37mm launchers that look like M203's offered by Spike's Tactical.

Is there any specific laws against flare launchers, like say a limit on the size of the flare or even features (much akin to the assault pistol requirements of weight, etc)?

As far as I know, no. Flareguns do not fall under firearms laws in HRS because they are not weapons.

I think as long as it was utilized for its created purpose, and not for shooting at some street punk -- you would be ok :D.

One year I saw an idiot shoot a flare gun off in the neighborhood.  Luckily for me (and my neighbors) it was quite a bit down the hill from us.  Luckily no one's house got set on fire.
