I think it is a valid thing to discuss but in the end of course fashion designers are free to design whatever fashion they want. The title hints at something being banned but the discussion in the article seems to be more just about the discussion of whether it is good or not to have guns as fashion. We can apply that same question to a lot of issues. Should we have fashion with alcohol, car racing, sports, military themes, etc. etc. etc.? I say let the market decide. If enough people don't want gun fashion then these businesses wont design any since it wont sell. But if enough people do want it then the market will fill that demand.

Maybe two things I would comment as sort of a side issue.
#1: I would not want to wear clothing that indicates I am carrying a concealed firearm, I would rather keep that a secret.
#2: I would not want to wear fashion that could be mistaken for a real firearm and get myself mistakenly shot. The purse in the photo in the article is a little questionable in that aspect.

Yeah, that pretty much says it all. All I have to add is...who gives a rip?
Besides, who enforces a fashion ban? The fashion police?
What, Me Worry?

The irony like Hollywod - is that people will wear the fashion but won't own a firearm

If there were fashion laws with fashion police and fashion court then Mylie Cyrus needs to be executed for her fashion crimes.

If too realistic, then I guess you could treat this the same as carrying around a non-firing model gun in public view; I have no idea what the legal status of this is in Hawaii. If it's not realistic then who cares.

As for enforcement, I think the regular police could enforce it. After all, don't they have the authority to arrest people for indecent exposure if they run naked in the street? I'm guessing they also have the authority to arrest a joker who runs around in the street pointing a non-firing model gun at people.
