Sig 220 magazine trouble
« on: November 03, 2014, 09:37:31 AM »
I know there are a few people here that run sig 220's

My old buddy just bought a new 220 and the mag is so tight I can barely get 7 rounds of gi ball in it.
The problem is that it is an 8 round mag.

Anybody here have that problem?

Ive had the same issue very hard to load single stack to 8. Sig mags when new have a very stiff mag spring. Load up the mag full and leave it loaded when not in use it will eventually break in and you will have an easier time loading it. Till then get used to sore finger or get a uplula loader

Yep, I have the same problem with the newer 220 mags.....I just have to muscle em in over and over and over and over and over...lol!!

I also leave them fully loaded to help break in the spring but there still a bitch to load.  :grrr:

Small price to pay to have one of the nicest 45's EVER fully loaded and ready for action!!
