IDK
Doyle should not have said "I'll shoot him in the @#$%^  head, but Gonzales followed him home and got out of his car, "and he allegedly fired his weapon as Gonzalez continued to come toward him. "
then again "A witness told deputies they saw Gonzalez backing away when Doyle pulled the gun."

Worth watching what happens but Rusty is right, "two dumb asses" .

That's a rough one, on one hand I can understand Doyle's reaction.  He had a guy follow him home and when he got home, the guy get's out of his car to confront him.  On the other hand you should always give someone the opportunity to surrender if they don't pose an immediate threat (i.e. finding someone half way through your window in the middle of the night).  Did Gonzalez back off and attempt to stand down or did he attack Doyle and get what he deserved??  We'll likely never know exactly what happened after the gun was drawn but restraint and common sense should always be observed.  As the officer said, if Gonzalez just disengaged, he'd still be alive and I would honestly put the blame on Gonzalez, not Doyle.
"The rifle is a weapon. Let there be no mistake about that. It is a tool of power, and thus dependent completely upon the moral stature of its user. It is equally useful in securing meat for the table, destroying group enemies on the battlefield, and resisting tyranny. In fact, it is the only means of resisting tyranny, since a citizenry armed with rifles simply cannot be tyrannized."

OK, so the "victim" stated to the 911 operator that he "wants to get the guys address". Why get out of the vehicle? He could've driven past and reported the address, he initiated the confrontation, both by following the subject and exiting his vehicle in an aggressive manor. For that matter, he could've simply reported the license number of the vehicle to 911 and allowed LE to follow up. Especially with his family in the car.

Did he deserve to die for it? No. Should the CCW holder have shown more restraint? Yes. The fact remains that the "victim" aggressively confronted the subject. This guy is going to walk on the murder charge and plea down on the assault charges.

Definitely dumb and dumber.

Some don't like Nutnfancy, but check his commentary on this incident.   I think he is right on point.

Nutnfancy makes great points. He just makes a 10 minute video last an hour and makes up too many buzz words and tacticool acronyms.
