On the real guys. So the Kaiser/Straub fiasco is done and didnt know what to expect when I went down today. I got there around 11:00 am, line was about 10 feet from the doors.
The line started to grow a bit then officer Del Prado came out to scrub the line. He was taking permit pick ups, people registering guns from out of state and coming back from FFLs, handing out and checking paper work so when you got to the window it would be quick as possible.
It took me like 60 seconds to apply for my permit and I was done. I was out by 12:00.
I dont expect it to be like this all the time, although I really wish it was, but after dropping $150 for a letter that I didnt need, seeing how busy it was, and the overall feelings that have been generated over the past month, this was a welcomed experience.
