Pelican 1450

If you were looking to pick up a Pelican 1450 this weekend (and I am), which venue would you think likeliest to have that specific model?

It's got to be a 1450.

Nope, that won't do.  A 1450.

Did I say only a 1450?  Well, alright then!

Amazon wants $100 to ship them, despite saying "Free Shipping" in the product description

Yeah that's odd it only offers the expedited shipping. I tried the other colors listed and they still wanted $100 to ship.

Oh well. I know young guns and j.hara store carry pelican cases I want to say SEC does also but I can't remember. Try and call and see if they have the model you are looking for.

Years Ago I believe Best Buy carried Pelican cases.  Maybe they still do...

Do you have Amazon Prime?  I am getting some 1450 results with Prime shipping, but colors are yellow, orange, desert tan and silver.  Black doesn't want to come out with Prime.

Nope, not a Prime subscriber.  I really don't care what color the thing is, but I tried to buy it, in various colors, from various sellers, all on Amazon.  In each case, the only shipping option was "expedited" for $100.

Young Guns says they have a couple in stock for $150.  J Hara, which is 10 miles closer to my house, is out of that model.  But it's good news, right?  I found one, and "have" to go to a gun store!

Get the 30 day Prime trial and just make sure you cancel it before it's over.

Tom,

Check out some local camera or dive shop. This is also widely used for camera equipment.

I remember a camera shop in kaimuki that sold pelican cases.

Shouldent have to be prime member to buy it, just takes longer to ship. Even if you have to buy prime $100 vs $150,  means your 1/2way their on the saving + you get Prime video (like netflix but better) and you have it for future use.

Funny, that one worked!  Maybe Amazon was glitching when I was trying yesterday, but as dustoff confirmed, the only shipping option they were offering was $100 expedited.  And I had looked at the very item you linked to!

Whatever, it worked today!

Some sellers set it to Prime members only (i did see a few of them set to this) , So if your not a prime member you cant order it with the free shipping, Other items are prime which any one can order with free shipping, just takes a while to deliver, expect about 5-7 days.

You got to use the filters to find Prime items,

Search for the item on ammazon,    Use the Prime check mark on the left to show only prime items,

click on the item that you want it may show up non prime, Click on the other sellers option.

Select the Prime item, Some times it will be a little more expensive then other options shown but it will be free shipping for prime, most times it works out cheaper then buying local because of the 4.7% tax.
