General Election
« on: July 11, 2016, 01:30:59 PM »
has there been a posted list of political candidates (local or national) who we should be considering for office come the general election.

I haven't been as close to the candidates and their issues favorable to 2a and to 2ahawaii in general - just hoping the more well informed members can provide some direction here!

otherwise i also got my list of who not to vote for!

There's this list but it needs to be updated for 2016

There are quite a few on this list that definitely need a downgrade in their rating.
I think, therefore I am armed.

This list might be irrelevant, if things go super sideways in the coming weeks.

At least Obama will still be in charge, thank God.

It would be really good to have THIS list updated before every election. In past there have been some candidates go from a high rating to a low one (ie. Tusli Gabbard). I would like to know that information.

Surprised that my rep. Hashem (D) is not on that list.  Maybe my letter to him did something.  I know he was leery of that no fly list bill.  Also surprised that Gabbard's name is on the list.  Thought he was pro 2A.

I am not surprised about Gabbard's name being on the list. I think what is happening is there are two Gabbard's. Mike the father and Tulsi the daughter.

Hey Heavies, you might want to update/correct your list and determine which Gabbard signed the gun bills. It is probably Tulsi.

For this year.  I believe the only opposition to those anti gun bills that passed where Bob McDermott and Sam Slom...I could be wrong though, have to look through the voting records....   so...

And Keep in mind that there was overwhelming public opposition to all those bills that where passed.

a place to start would be to look at the HRA website and check the calendar and photos to see whose fundraisers they attended

You live in Hawaii, do you honestly think you have a voice
in the government?  This place is run by mainland liberal
Democrats. My legislature critters start their fund raising
at Hotels in Honolulu.  The largest employer on my island
is the government which is full of Democrat union employees.
Expect to lose your guns soon.  We don't deserve them
because we won't fight for them.
