HPD's online firearm registration = waste of time
« on: September 23, 2016, 09:13:57 AM »
Submitted my information yesterday in order to save time today when I went downtown to register, they still make you fill out the hardcopy registration form. No time saved, and I forgot to bring in one of my pre-filled out reg forms.

Supposedly the online system will allow you to see a listing if your firearms, but I don't think it's functional. Yay inefficiency!

The online forms can not be used for registration, The law states "The registration shall be on forms prescribed by the attorney general, which shall be uniform throughout the State," No other county has online registration and as such HPD can not use an online system. This is one of the main things blocking rapback.
"Mr. Roberts is a bit of a fanatic, he has previously sued HPD about gun registration issues." : Major Richard Robinson 2016

the online forms ask what days of the week and what hours of the day you're at work...

translation = what day and time would be the safest to confiscate your stuff, should the need arise in the future.
