MP 15-22 fake supressor?

I'm thinking about dressing up my rifle with a fake suppressor. Shroud style like in the picture.

I would be interested in knowing if that would affect accuracy.
Anybody have experience with that?

i dont know how much it would affect it, but it most likely would because the barrel is not really free floated on 15-22s. there is a stabilizing ring at the end of the rail that pops off. you need to remove that so the fake can will slip into the handguard for that integrally suppressed look.
hell, it may increase accuracy. id just look for a lightweight can because the polymer upper and small barrel nut dont really make a solid base like a regular ar15. i think that may be why they added that stabilizing ring for the barrel.

those are the tabs you need to press in to pop the ring off. you also need to remove the flash hider but youll be doing that anyway to screw on the fake suppressor

even with a real suppressor, accuracy at 25 yards seems good....
i mean i always hit paper at that range.

I do see people shooting long range with scope up to 300 yds with good results.
These were all done with medium priced suppressors.
