Shooting Chrony F1 hacks

For those of you who also have this chronograph - So I have my $60 F1 for over a decade and last night I looked on the side and there's a 1/8 stereo phono plug. Forgot about that plug for years. Well, finally I got to find out more about it. It is a serial interface and toggle for the function menu. SO using a 1/8 inch phono cable I had around I was able to access its "hidden menu" I got shot strings, ES, SD and High and low vels from one string. Pretty cool. Like rooting an Android or jailbreaking an iPhone. Shooting Chrony wanted about $18 for this cable. I found it free. All I did was short the RCA end coming out of the phono cable. There is also a serial output. So my next mod is to output it over Bluetooth to my Android phone. I've had some exp with Bluetooth modules as they are cheap. Anyone have dev exp with Android?
