Just got back from my fireworks adventure at DQ Kaheka.  Got there at 0440 and was in line at the end of the building on Kaheka St.   By the time DQ opened at 0600, the line went close to the end of the building on Kanunu St.  Slight drizzles with cold wind.  Got my Double Luck 10Ks and out the door by 0617.  Heard someone had 40 permits.  What a way to spend the day after Christmas but it's a tradition.  Next year got to wake up at 0300 instead of 0400 unless I find another place selling Double Luck firecrackers.  Very locomoco crowd, everyone moving fast but everybody cool.  Wish HI allowed tannerite.

I am glad you got what you wanted. I bought some from Don Q. in Pearl City there was still a good selection around noonish, but it looks like they sold a lot today.

Some asshole set off some very loud, illegal sky displays this morning. I would have enjoyed them if it was not for the fact that they were set off at 3am!!! 

My Wife went to Jhara and got what we wanted, Great service from a LOCAL store.

Not nearly as bad as going to HPD at 0230 to register a rifle during the late 2012 craziness.
Yeah the idiots playing their illegal stuff at all hours ruin it for us all.  Hope everyone got what they wanted.

I get that in my neighborhood too. Not too smart. Great way to piss off your neighbors.
