So much craziness going on nowadays.  I think over the past 5 years it's been getting worse but this year seems to have accelerated to violence from more property crime stuff.

Criminal masterminds they are not!

If they took my daughter and I was unable to kill them before they left, I would welcome them back with hot lead.  Shows the importance of carrying at home.  Need to be ready for idiot criminals, especially in Puna.  Maybe that’s why I love it here so much.  Much more than I enjoyed living in Kailua.  I have a sense of adventure each day.
Happily living in Puna

There's something that creeps me out about Big Island. I love the beauty, but there's a similar vibe in rural Arizona where at least they allow open carry.

I seriously doubt rural Arizona has nearly as many tweekers and general human detritus.

They hit her on the head, kidnapped her, chopped off her hair and then returned her back at the home that they kidnapped her from? Bizzare!

It's more similar than you think.
