Will the rest of the military follow and Is keymod and picatinny going to die?

i like that mlok can have shorter rail sections. 3 slots vs 5 for keymod.
im also a big fan of the kdg kinect system.

only negative to me is that mlok rail covers seem to be a lil more expensive and a lot of them dont fit that well and/or are ugly.. pretty hard to beat the bcm keymod covers. 5pack of 7" covers for 9.95 if you shop around. they are light, fit perfectly, and have nice texture. worst mlok i tried so far is the strike industries. cheap flimsy polymer and only comes with enough to cover 5 slots. need plenty of packs especially if you have an octagonal rail system and they are like 8 bucks each  :o

I was planning on buying either a complete upper with KMR rail or a KMR rail for my Colt OEM2.  I will still likely do so, but I never really looked into the MLOK rail previously.  Will likely look into it more now.
