Obama-appointed judge selected to hear CA "assault weapon" ban/registration case (Read 1480 times)

It would save a lot of time (at least a year) if the plaintiffs could just accept defeat without going through the motions of the trial and directly move to the appeal stage (does anyone really think this Obama appointee will nix the California legislature's "control" of"dangerous" "assault weapons"?)... but I guess given how the entire judiciary stacks up they'd just pack it all up and go home right now unless they're expecting that by the time it gets to SCOTUS (5-7 years?) there'll be another more pro-2A justice or two in place there. So maybe time is on their side on this one... Rupp v. Becerra.

By the way, the law in question bans any transfer under any circumstances including upon death to one's heirs... gotta destroy those puppies at that point.

The smile on her face says "I'm coming for your guns". Ige will be following this closely so he can formulate his next move.
