I have the calvin. And I like it... very light out the box so if that's not what your looking for then. If it is that's the one

When I was looking to replace the trigger on my 700 due to the recall, I was looking at Timney.  Probably not "the best", I thought it was a good trigger and for the money.

Hey Rocky,

I may have a couple Jewell HVR's possibly other's as well laying around if  I do I'll send it to you for rockette.

I'll look tomorrow when I get home and let you know.

I have jewell, timney (both 500 series and elite) and huber for my 700's or custom 700 clones.  They will all fit the bill for what you're looking for it may come down to personal preference for single stage vs 2 stage trigger.

Aloha and Good Shooting!

Aloha Rocky,

I apologize but I forgot I put the HVR on one of my 6mm BR's

I have a Trigger Tech frictionless R700 Primary trigger NIB if you interested lmk,  I prefer these over my timney's but as alway's personal preference.

Aloha Good Shooting!

I installed a Trigger Tech (primary, curved) in my R700.  Haven't gotten to the range yet, but through dry firing, it's really crisp.  Unfortunately, the only comparison I have is against the stock trigger.  I based based my purchase from online reviews and I like the frictionless release tech.  It's also adjustable from 1.5-4#s.

After a bit of research, I see a lot of praise for the Trigger Tech frictionless R700 Primary trigger .
Are you on Oahu ?

Kaloman,

I'm sure you're gonna love it if all you used before was the stock trigger.

Good Shooting

Had a frozen up trigger.
Model 700 7mm Mag.
CLP fixed, but I don't trust
the thing anymore.  It
is not my gun, but what trigger
to buy and how to install it?
Help my neighbor!  We don't have many
gunsmiths here.

Went with 808Hunta's recommendation of TriggerTech.
Good decision.

Roller bearing provides REALLY crisp release, Total surprise.  :o
Have not adjusted pull weight as only fired 5 rounds from 100yds to check it out, but will move out to  200yds today and really get a feel for it.
