Shooting range in Waipio? (Read 9517 times)

Shooting range in Waipio?

I heard about a range that was supposed to be built in Waipio and looked it up. I found maybe 2 threads on it and it stops with something alongs the lines of "scheduled to open in the beginning of 2011".


Anyone know the status on this? Sorry if it's been covered.

I was on the email list for this, but I haven't heard from the guy in a long time.
Last I inquired, he said they were having troubles with permitting and such, after that, no word.

If you mean Shooter Ready Hawaii...the guy planning it found out it was going to cost more than he'd expected, so the range is dead in the water.

We are in the process of buying land.  22 acres. We plan to build a shoot house and 300 yard range.
