How do you guys store your paracord for the BOB? Right now I got 1000' on a spool just waiting to do something.

I keep about a fifty foot length on me, in a pocket, and another fifty or so in the bag.

A quick YouTube search is all you need. Bracelets, belts, and many other cool ways to make up the paracord.
I like the Cobra braid, but I had seen a quick release version of this type of braid too.

i used to be able to post youtube videos but can't remember how for some reason. where did you get the paracord? I see lots of deals on the cheap stuff but it seems hard to locate the genuine article.

I got my paracord through Amazon for $40/1000' spool, but it looks like the price went up since I bought it. I think it is just the commercial version rather than the mil-spec. Here's a place that has the milspec stuff and a link to their commercial page too. http://militaryparacord.com/

While looking for other sources of paracord storage I came across a version that looks similar to the ITS Tactical version.

Slept in one once.  Very uncomfortable.  Made by a friends who was an Eagle Scout.  It was damned easy to store and carry, though!

County comm has or at least had a delrin spool on a biner.  Both parts appear to be well made though the spool doesn't spin that freely. They call it drop-line rapid line deployment system.  Holds 50 feet of paracord according to them.  Countycomm.com.  lots of other knicknacks on their site.

That's an interesting question. The types of ropes I've found uses for are paracord, fishing line, and climbing rope. There's not much you can't do with those three. I'd be interested in other people's opinions though.
