I suspect there is at least a correlation here to firearm crimes as well as crime in general. [I object to the commonly used phrase "drugs and/or alcohol". Alcohol is a drug. Despite the mass of people not wanting to acknowledge the fact, it's still a fact. I know, people love denial.]

I don't see anything in the report specific to firearms use in the accident, homicide, or suicide stats, but I'd guess it's "substantial" in the homicides and suicides.May not be similar rates in Hawaii.
