visiting from seattle - interested in hunting and shooting idpa

Howdy Ya'll.

I'm coming to Maui in late janurary and I would love to hunt ( I hear u got some hogs what need killin).  I'm bringing my family so I'm only able to get away for a day at a time.  Does anyone have any information on where I should go hunt?  I'm not able to take much meat with me back (I'll be taking some back, but I can't really afford the extra freight) so I'm happy to share the meat.

I saw that the permit is 95$ and I have to register my guns with the sheriff I think?

I'd also love to shoot some competitions or events and meet some people in the shooting/hunting culture.

I saw there were was one range but I didn't see any events listed anywhere.  I just wanna shoots bro.

Can someone steer me in the right direction?  I saw some guided hunts but I don't have that kind of money.

Thanks!

There are a lot of liberals running around on Maui. (kidding!)

There's lot of hunting on Molokai. In fact, I hear it's the only tourist industry on the island. Just google Molokai hunting...

Try see if you can "borrow" from some one local, if not, hunting pig I sent worth the hassle
