I use 200gn powder coated SWC from Missouri Bullets, Starline brass and 4.8gr of HP38 or W231. Super accurate load in all of my guns.

HP38 is another one of those powders I have been trying to find a good excuse to try. This is the excuse I need to go buy some. Thanks! 

I was shooting my S&W Model 25 in 45 ACP this last Sunday. I have a very nice load for it using the 250gr LSWC that I buy locally along with 4.5gr of the IMR Target powder. I recently purchased some IMR Target powder and tried it for the first time. I shot 50 rounds of this load through my revolver and I have to say it is a pleasant load to shoot. And it hits at point of aim. The IMR Target powder is supposed to be IMR's competition to Bullseye. And I have to say in my revolver it works quite nicely.

I would like to see how it does in a semi. I don't own a semi in .45 ACP. If someone (OF?) would like to try some of this new powder in your 1911 or other semi I am more than happy to donate some of this new powder to the cause.

I looked at the data for imr  target and it looks similar to 231/hp38, which I have been using for more than 30 years.
If you want to trade a half lb of hp38 for a half lb of target, I would do that and run a quick review.

I'm at Ala Moana until 3pm. And I think I drive near your workplace on my way home if my memory is correct. Will that work for you? Obviously I don't have it with me today but I can bring it with me tomorrow. Friday is going to be a bad day for me to stop by because I am going to have my truck loaded with computer equipment and office stuff. But if I don't have to leave my vehicle I can stop by on Friday.

I haven't done much reloading for 45acp yet.  so far I've only used Titegroup

4.8 grains of titegroup
hornady 230 grain FMJ
CCI 300 primer

reloading data I found for titegroup and 230 grain 45acp was around 3.8-6.4 grains
4.0 grains of titegroup did not cycle well at all in my 1911's, 4.8 grains did cycle very well.  and I can probably add a little more powder next time.
accuracy I'm not too sure exactly yet.
I don't have a chrono, so idk what the velocity is.  but the 4.8 grains of titegroup does feel slightly slower than a factory load of 230 grain FMJ.
