And here come the demands to ban vehicles in 3-2-1...3/4...1/2...1/4...nothing huh? Could that be because those that claim to want to stop mass murder by banning guns 1) care little to nothing about the actual murder and are only interested in stopping firearm ownership to make themselves feel better at night OR 2) will not ban anything that makes their own lives convenient.

Don't even try to make the argument that a vehicle was not intended to kill people because it obviously can and does so with much more frequency than all firearms combined.

I think MSD survivor Kyle Kashuv put it best...

"If  he had an Assault Rifle, there would have been more than 9 dead."

Kill someone with a gun, gun gets most of the blame.  Kill someone on purpose with a vehicle, only the driver gets blamed.  Seems fair to me.

My response would be that the killer was a coward that didn't wan't to be caught which is what ended the killing spree.  The vehicle was still running so he could have easily ran over more people if he had the mindset to do so.  No reloading or anything...

Copy cats terrorizing innocent people again.  That's a lot of lives and families torn apart.  Not just a US thing.  The world has to rise up and get rid of these terrorists instead of expecting the US to do everything.

If you were armed and saw a vehicle plowing down the sidewalk, would you shoot and attempt to stop the vehicle?

Only if it was coming directly at me and I had no place to run, otherwise No.

If you were in Hawaii.
You don't have the right to carry a gun here outside your
residence, business or place of sojourn, how could you
possibly shoot?
Plus they will arrest you and destroy your gun automatically.
Here you are supposed to die  much like the Canadians.
So there is a target rich environment.

Reports are saying 10 dead now & 15 wounded.

Driver tried to provoke suicide-by-cop, but the cop refused to shoot.  Some reports are saying he's being praised for that.  Maybe in the sense that we can possibly find out the "why", but it's almost guaranteed he'll claim not guilty by reason of insanity.

I don’t think zippz was meaning Hawaii when he posed that question.  I always carry on the mainland as the only places I will travel to is where one of the 3 state permits I have are honored.  I would like to know what others here would do in that situation.

And now its gonna cost taxpayers millions.
