With the CCI-SV I was either left or right about 3/4 inch POA, but rounds were touching

SK red box were all shots in a nickle size POA, looked like a 4 on a dice. But all edges touching, not on top of each other like CCI/Armscor

Armscor was almost like the CCI,

Everything else in the pic of the ammo was spread out about peanut size compared to POA

But again to be fair, many times I was just sending rounds and not waiting for 100% no wind or stuff like that.  So that might be the 3/4 inch left or right.

Nice!! I made a metallic swinger that's challenging AF. 1"- 3/16" and can be put at any distance, any position.

Unfortunately my knee has a previous engagement with a knife in a week and a half.  I’m going to be out of service for at least a month to 6 weeks. Just let me know when it is planned for and I’ll try to show up  if I can.

Shot at 100yrds for the first time.

CCI minimag grouping and poi/poa was within grapefruit.

Got to try some RWS match and target (thanks Bushido), grouping and poa/poi was within about 40mm (diamater of the front of my scope). Or little bigger than ping pong ball, but smaller than bottom of soda can.

Noticed both head drop was about 4-5 inches  compared to 50yrds.

Took a while to figure out the drop. I went up mil dots at first (wrong way). Had no idea where my rounds were going. Then i tried them all and realized i had to hold down 1 dot for HV and 2 dots for SV ammo.

No problem, as you could see by Nakas coming over and letting me try some Eley and esk808 giving me more R50, the rimfire crowd is about that Aloha. I'm glad you and Mrs. Change had fun. Beware, rimmies are very contagious. 556fun can vouch for that.

Went to clean the RPRR and was amazed how clean the bolt and receiver is.

I guess because no blow back and gas being recycled.

Didnt clean the barrel, gonna leave it "seasoned".

There are a few prevailing thoughts I will share with you.

One is that the barrel will not get any dirtier than it already is. As each bullet passes thru it will push out any excess and just leave the same amount of "seasoning". A lot of people never clean their barrels. A brand new barrel can lead to the point of having accuracy issues. I am under this impression as well. So I would consider cleaning your new barrel every few outings to just check for excessive lead build-up. If there is none then I stop cleaning my barrels.

Another thought is that the "seasoning" is applicable only to the type of ammo you last shot through the barrel. In other words, when changing ammo types with different lube some people shoot 10 or more rounds of the new ammo before they try to shoot for groups or competition. Thereby seasoning the barrel for the type of ammo you intend to shoot. I am not so sure about this. I have actually tested the theory and have found that the first 2-5 shots from a cold barrel affect the accuracy the most. In other words, warming up the barrel. I have not noticed any change in POA/POI or accuracy differences while changing from one type of ammo to another without running 10 or so rounds through the barrel first. As long as the barrel is warm.

I do however clean my barrels occasionally. On all my semi's when the action stops reliably feeding ammo I know it is time to clean my .22's. So far that turns out to be about once every 6 months to a year. As far as my pump/bolt action rifles are concerned I clean them more often. Can't explain why. HEADS
