Damn those black n decker tools are cheap and look just like the dewalt line. I wonder how they perform side by side considering theyre 1/4th the price. Id hope probably at least half as good.
I know theyre both under the same corporation but havent seem them before. The recip saw looks just like mine but orange and with a smaller foregrip and motor.
The brushless dewalt was 159.

You should pick up some versatile attachments for your recip saw. I do less cutting and more work with the attachments. There are nylon and stainless scrub brushes, carbide grout rasps, and metal scrapers.

Electric tools make it easier but there is something satisfying about a nice sharp hand tool cutting a branch.

I got one of those Japanese Silky folding saws as a backup limb trimmer and now I'm almost constantly reaching for it. Made a cheap holster out of duct tape and cardboard but now considering a real one based off all the mileage it gets. Real wonder tool.
