Hawaii has "universal background checks" which are required by law for every single firearms sale/transfer. And Hawaii has the only thing that makes universal background checks even possibly work: universal registration.

As we see in the current federal legislation passed by the Socialists in the House, they acknowledge that the "universal background check" bill is "a good first step" because they know it can't even work a little bit without a gun registry in order to determine where all the guns are and should be. (And they will NEVER use those lists to confiscate guns... ask them.)

So Hawaii is proof that it (universal background checks coupled with a gun registry) works and thus there is no gun crime here committed by persons with unregistered guns who have not undergone a universal background check. Right?
