I remain convinced these things to not just "happen", but are orchestrated to occur at the most advantageous time.  Like right in the middle of democrat "debates".  What a convenient new talking point to feed to the liberal base.

The next "debate" isn't until Sept. 12-13... almost six weeks away, and the El Paso event will no longer be part of the news cycle... indeed, there could be another such "mass shooting" prior to that date (excluding of course that almost that many people are shot and killed in Chicago every weekend... but if you go with the number of "mass shootings" quoted by most of the candidates, 340 PER YEAR, there will be about 37 (thirty-seven) "mass shootings" (4 or more killed) between now and the next debate)... unless, as dictated by the powers-that-be, El Paso becomes to "semi-automatic weapons" what Las Vegas became to "bumpstocks". I guess we have to wait and see.
