The local news headlines were "Another" knife attack.  Which implies it happens often and not an isolated incident.  Which would match current intel that's not reported by the fake news.

Many stores in England have stopped selling single knives.  They only sell them as sets now to deter someone buying 1 knife and going on a stabbing spree.  But I wonder now they will buy a set and more will go on sprees since they got more knives.  Or double fist knives.

Acid attacks still very common.

Common sense knife control? Maybe Britain can make suggestions?
1. Knife crime has increased considerably in recent years.
2. Something must be done.
3. Commonsense dictates that fewer knives means fewer knife crimes.
4. Anyone who does not support commonsense knife safety regulations is therefore stupid (defined, as we saw in another thread, as "lacking in commonsense").

They do have common sense knife control, but it's not working.  It's actually common sense sharp, pointy object control.

Police can stop and frisk anyone and you get in trouble if you got a screw driver, exacto, etc... on you.  They even give you orange notes to give to your boss if the search made you late for work.  Also amnesty knife bins.

Because of that, they switched to pouring acid on people which is ordered online.  And you can't just rub it off, need a neutralizing agent.  Which I'm sure many don't keep in their pockets.  But they are starting to.

Oh let's not forget cars are also used to run people over.  So all these issues England has and much of the UK, but yet Mayor Khan blames Trump.

I practice common sense knife control here in Hawaii.

For instance, when out and about, like say at Walmart, I carry it concealed in my pocket (which is both legal and common sense).

I might carry a machete openly in the woods or hiking.  (which is legal and common sense)

I don't carry a machete in Walmart (which is legal, but stupid), as to not scare the sheeple into calling for politicians to enact  "common sense knife laws"
