Ever since the Emancipation Proclamation, gun control laws have always been geared toward keeping guns from the hands of Blacks.

Even as recently as the Chicago's ban on sales in the city limits and Saturday Night Special laws, gun control laws have targeted Black communities.

Look at the exorbitant taxes Warren is campaigning for on firearms and ammo.  Those living in poor and crime-riddled neighborhoods who are most in need of self defense will be the most likely to be affected, and mostly those are minority areas.

Funny how 30% tax on guns and 50% tax on ammo doesn't violate the second amendment, but requiring photo ID to vote is racist.

I do agree that the law abiding black community should take their safety into their own hands and arm up. The article totally missed the mark on the true reason why they should, the reality is that black's need take back their own communities from the (black) thugs that terrorize them. USA Today blaming white supremacist's is just another attempt to divide gun owners and Americans in general. These assholes are in fact empowering white supremacist by inserting their fringe and rare ideas into our daily lives.
The Giffords groups new tactic to defeat our natural right is to divide and conquer, there will be a new narrative being pushed to drive wedge between gun owners. Their hopes are that they can achieve a level of tribalism within our community and have us fight their battle for them. Expect to see more veiled pro(ish) gun articles from lefty news organizations singleing out specific groups i.e. Fudds vs AR owners, pro gun owners who push for red flag laws and the like. We need to get over our differences and keep the pressure on our elected officials as one solid force in order to preserve our rights.
