How would the AK 12 be named as the Civilian model Saiga 12 is already for the shotty. BTW I thought it was a new model Siaga tell when I saw the title.

This looks like a really great rifle. I would like to see if any parts interchange with the ak74 if at all. The ak12 has features similar to the Polish Beryl. The Beryl is the recent replacement for the Tantal. I have read that there are plans to sell a version of the Beryl in the US in 2012. I hope it does happen. If it does, I may buy one in spite of my disdain for aks in 556. The Beryl is made in caliber 556x45, probably since Poland planned to join NATO.  Hey wasn't somebody on this forum looking for a 556 ak? This may be just the thing to save up for.

Somebody tell the Russians to hurry up and sell some rifles to the Americanski's. The Bulgarians kicked their former Russian masters butts by badly beating them on the bid to resupply the Iraqis with aks. Now the Polish are poised to beat them to the biggest gun market of the free world. How do you say "Hurry up"  in Russian?

The Polish Beryls are now available. Kinda pricey for an ak. 40 bucks per mag? An AR might be a better deal.
