A pregnant Florida woman, armed with a semi-automatic rifle, gunned down one of two home invaders who had broken in and were pistol whipping her husband, officials said Monday.

According to our law makers, there is no use for "military style" weapons of war or standard cap mags.

IIRC, there are 3 lawsuits challenging CA's mag limits.  Each person ran out of ammo during a home invasion.  1 was unable to reload because 1 hand was occupied on the phone.  Another didn't have a spare mag around.  1 of the invasions, 40 rounds were found (40 holes in the wall).  The  homeowner only had a 10rd mag.  So the remaining 30 came from the intruders.  Most of them were injured from running black on ammo.
