Do you know which FFLs will accept firearms from a private seller for instance like Gunbroker.   I did a few thru Al Mongeon many years ago
But heard he had retired and gave up his FFL.  Thanks in advance  :shaka:

Such a policy prevents many of the problems FFLs experience when receiving out-of-state transfer guns.  A shipping FFL will securely package, insure and document the shipment properly more often than a private seller with little experience.  I don't blame them for not wanting to deal with missing, broken or incorrectly recorded firearms.  For what most charge, the transfer fee may not even pay for their time to coordinate, accept, log and deliver the transferred gun.

If the seller is reliable and has a high positive review list, you might show that to the local FFL and see if that will convince them to make an exception to their policy.  Worth asking.
