Has anybody had success swapping out their stock sights on a sig p226 or any dovetail type sights? I’m looking for someone that could do it. Please lmk and price as well mahalo. On Oahu btw

Are you set on having someone do it for you? Getting a sight pusher is a hefty investment, but doing it yourself is a great learning experience. Not to mention if you or your friends need sights moved you can help them out.

My sight tools consist of files. Hammer. Duct tape. Non marring punch and my floor  Granted all the sights I've done were pretty straight and blocky. I imagine it would be a bitch of a time trying a cz75b rear sight with their rounded sides. Good luck  if you decide to do it yourself  it's a good skill to pick up.

Similar for me. I have a sight pusher for Glocks, but everything else is a nylon punch (think I also have aluminum ones that come with Dawson or 10-8 sights), hobby hammer, and a vice. I have files from Amazon as well as some specialty ones from Brownells. Some of the sights have a hardened out layer that can be tough to break through.

Overall, take your time and go slow. File the rear surface of the dovetail. File a little, try fitting, file a little etc. I’ve ruined a couple of rear sight when I got impatient.
