So I snagged an appointment to aquire , first of the day I think 0800. To the best of my memory the metered parking around hpd and the lot across the transit station start taking coins at 0800.

So what are my options? I can't be in two places at one time. If I wait for the meters to "turn on" I'll be late for my appointment after doing my health check?

Anybody here have an appointment a 0800 at hpd, where'd you park?

Whenever I cant find parking I just park at straub and walk across the street, costs between $3-$5 depending on how long you take But there's always parking there.

Unless it's changed, the meters in front of the police station on Beretania come available at 7:30am M-F.  I would get there about 2 minutes before and snag a spot.  I'd sit until I was sure it was after 7:30, then feed the meter.

Alternative was the covered parking behind/next to the station and down the block at the State Capitol.

My recollection may be wrong. I thought it was 0800. Prob go early check out the spots front the station. If no can then go the straub route suggested by kawika.

Beretania is tow away until 8:30am. The police station underground parking is open before 8am. There's about ten metered stalls.

Yes, entrance at the end of South Hotel Street, used it twice before 8am within the last three weeks.
