I just purchased my first M1A about a day ago- it’s inbound, hopefully will be here next week. Knowing very little about the platform, I thought it would be a good idea to join the forum. I’m mostly a collector, growing up, I could only watch movies and read magazines and imagine the guns I’d like to own, made practicaly impossible by the state. Since moving south, I’ve been making up for lost time.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to learning about the gun and its inner workings. I’ve recently been interested in Vietnam era weapons, so I will probably be making it look a bit more vintage-looking. When it arrives, m sure I will have a bunch of questions.
