More good news from our favorite north-of-the-birder prime minister.

Anybody able to find “Build Back Better” Supercuts?

Will you listen to the world economic forum?

https://www.weforum.org/great-reset

Like I said I am not denying this is an initiative.  Just like Isis is trying to bring sharia law to the world.  Will either work or feasible?  No.  Is it something to fear?  Slightly?  Is there a concerted secret effort by large amounts of people to enact either?  Or is it a few crazy people screaming stupid shit like usual.  I tend to think its the latter.  That is what differentiates conspiracy theory and theory.

Maybe I got bias from watching crazy alex jones pitch this in the other thread,  if that's the case my apologies if that was not the intent of your thread.  There are crazy people everywhere on both sides, but giving their stupid ideas attention will just make them stronger, similar to school shooters and media coverage.  But that's another topic.

I do apologize when I'm wrong,  it's happened before.  But I'm a skeptical person about theories until proven credible.   It really depends what level you think this great reset is.  If you take it at face value that the world's left want to move to this ideal unicorn world of unification and no poverty. Then it's true. If you think it's some deep state plan and all the liberals in all the countries are secretly making this happen. Then it's more pizzagate.  Sorry if I didn't make my position clear enough.
The right has crazy lofty ideas like a world without abortion.  So I think it's an idea,  yes.  Do I think it will happen and there secret Republicans everywhere that will rise up and use covid to get that done? No.

In average many of these threads are leaning too extreme hence, why I call it out.  In my opinion that separates out theory and conspiracy.   Alex Jones is the latter.

You like to embellish your posts with "crazy sounding" words like "secret", "unicorn", "deep state plan", "pizzagate" and so on.

You do this for YOUR benefit, not because anyone here actually said those things.

The fact is, changes of the magnitude ACTUALLY ADMITTED TO by world leaders take time.  They occur in varying degrees.  Just like ACA was meant to fail, as it was a stepping stone to single-payer Medicare for All.  Trying to jump straight to the end goal ignores the resistance of the existing economic forces and consumers.  Taking down the private insurance industry was necessary before attempting the push for gov't run health care.

The same is true of all massive changes in direction.  There's been a push for a global government for decades.  It's one of the reasons Trump ran and won -- we saw Bush and Obama pushing the US that direction.  The Paris Accord for Climate Change was one of those initiatives for Global control over our economy.  Take from the US and give to poorer countries under the guise of ending Climate Change.  Total BS.

I get it.  You think you know something, and it's different than what you're hearing and seeing.  So, you try to push reality aside in favor of your beliefs.

You are accusing me of the same thing you are doing now.  Generalizing.  I support global economy and limited global government (ideally lead by America).  Climate change is a global effort to fix. I don't support the socialism aspects of some peoples plans.  There are parts of everything some people support and don't.  Don't label everything under the great reset.  Then any change to the world can fall under that one general term.

If I am guilty of Cognitive Dissonance, you are too.

Globalism is a Liberal ideal.  Look it up.

Individual Liberty and Globalism, by definition, cannot coexist.

Quote
Globalism is the failed liberal authoritarian desire for a "one world" view that rejects the
important role of nations in protecting values, public health and safety or encouraging
productivity. Globalism is anti-American in encouraging Americans to adopt a "world view"
rather than an "American view." The ultimate goal of globalism is the eventual unification
of humanity under a one-world government. Communists and Marxists are using globalization
to advance their political aims.

Remember when Obama tried to talk down American Exceptionalism, saying the USA is no more exceptional than other developed countries?  Kinda fits this definition, if you're  honest about it.

Of course, I'm not saying you're a Liberal.  (You're doing fine without me pointing it out)

We went over this too.  Maybe should spend less time on conspiracy theories and more on remembering facts.  I guess deporting all the illegals is now a liberal policy.  Low taxes, small government and limited social programs too.  2a rights and strong military must be liberal too. Yup all ✔  must not be independent.

What you call yourself has NOTHING to do with this TOPIC.

Why does every topic ALWAYS pivot around to being about you?

You posted comment after comment, and not all responding to me.
