My last experience with this is I lit the fuse, turned to run away and the "bomb" exploded a micro second later.  Fortunately my face was turned away but pieces of shrapnel from the can embedded in my armpit and upper arm.

Yup, those fuses burnt fast. My cousin lite one in his hand and let's just say it wasn't pleasant.
