I wanna spray my stock to a OD color or simiar magpul color.  What brand rattle can paint should I use.  I'm looking for a paint that will not starch off easily or tarnish with sweat.  I heard krylon but I'm looking for input before I spray and regret.

Try do a search. I believe it was inspector that went on a scavenger hunt looking for od green or somethin very similar. Krylon was one of the top ones. They also sell od green at military hq in mapunapuna

Sorry my bad I should have worded my thing better, I was more looking for the long term input of people painting with rattle can krylon.  If they had issues with fading, tarnishing or other issues with the paint over time.
Also was looking for the closest color to the magpul colors since I'm somewhat color blind

I've used Krlyon Ultra Flat in various colors on many things, including grips, handguards, etc.  Never had any issues with fading and any wear marks (from hard use) can be easily fixed with a quick respray. The OD (Krylon #4293) is a very close match to Magpul.

Krylon is good, however just expect that if you rattle can something it will be an ongoing painting process...........unless it's a bench queen.

If you're not gonna go the DuraCoat route it will peal in time...

The worn look in my opinion is COOL....

Painted my rifle with krylon camo. It has held up very good. I did prep really good and put 7-8 light coats with 24hr cure between coats. Then put another 3-5 coats of matte clear. It took me about two weeks to paint. Was it overkill? Ya it probably was but wanted to make sure it came out nice.

So far everyone who saw my rifle after, couldn't believe it was from a spray can. I was very pleased with the out come. As long as you take the time to prep and spray, it should look good and last awhile. But ofcouse its not as durable as duracoat but for a $7 can of spray paint its pretty good.

Cool beans...I happen to be at Lowe's today but they don't carry krylon. 
I'm looking on getting a new barrel for my 10/22 and may need to modify the stock to clear the new thicker diameter so I figure it might be a good time to give it a shot

Home depot, walmart, city mill and  lowes don't carry Krylon camo. The place that I found was Ace and O'Reilly Auto have them in stock.

I agree that prep is the key, but I've never had a problem with peeling. Scuffs and dings? Yes, but never peeling. evosil98 is right on how it's done properly: Light coats and proper curing will create a very durable finish.

Walmart is the cheapest, but often sold out. If the shelf is empty ask them to check in back...they're slow with restocking shelves.

When you get around to painting your parts, use a really good degreaser and make sure it's dry. I use commercial grade automotive cleaner (something like Simple Green) on plastics. If you decide to paint metal parts, use brake cleaner then heat up the part just before spraying.
