It is well known that Chevron generally has the highest prices( gouges the most).
I'm surprised Hawaii doesn't have the same problem - price gouging worse than it
presently is.  My last gas purchase was $5.34 Hamakua coast, BI.
Get's too much worse,  I'll borrow a neighbors horse and start looking for a buggy.

Correct, extra cost that they put on themselves. Compared to a shipping cost of fuel consumption.

And other "incidentals" that are passed onto the consumer.  I don't know where CA is right now, but I remember all of the emissions stuff in WA.  While not directly fuel cost related, it came out that it ended up affecting fuel prices. . .

The 9 they put at the end of gas prices really irks me. Like we are supposed to think it is $5.31 instead of $5.32 or whatever
price is being charged now.
