Marine Corps Pu’u’loa Rifle Range

LIFE is proud to continue our annual tradition of bringing one of America’s premiere firearms instructors, Chuck Taylor, to the island.  This year’s subject, Precision Tactical Rifle.

Over this 2-day course, you will learn how to achieve 1-shot hits from distances up to 600 yards under field conditions.  You will work with a spotter, develop precise windage and elevation data for your particular rifle, learn to accurately estimate range and compensate for variable wind conditions.  Shooting is done from the prone position on the Marine Corps rifle range at Pu’u’loa, starting at 100 yards, and progressing to 600.
