So even though gun laws are more restrictive than ever and violent crime is getting worse, somehow it is our fault because we keep convincing those silly courts to do our evil bidding.

Only the truly despicable talk about rights and freedoms after all.

The only question is that there's so much bad information in the article where do you start in such a target rich environment?

Non gun owners and mild enthusiasts (I own a hunting rifle) are completely clueless. They eat up everything the media spews as God given. Very difficult to try to explain and persuade. God given rights are a difficult concept for sheep.

Even if SCOTUS declared national constitutional carry, Hawaii would
would ignore that decision and jail anyone carrying.   One way to beat that would be mass civil disobedience.   They couldn't jail or prosecute 5000 citizens ignoring an unlawful law. Politicians who try to circumvent a court ruling should be jailed for contempt of court.

I'd say the article was actually pretty decent. It affirmed a few of the points that we make such as how criminals still get guns and whatnot.
