An attorney for one of the Capture Diagnostic employees — Wes Yonamine — said the commission subpoenaed his client’s bank records back in April. He said he hasn’t had any communications with the commission since.

The commission has also subpoenaed the bank accounts of another employee Jordan Kurokawa, who works as compliance administrator and project coordinator for Capture Diagnostics.

Kurokawa’s father is Gary Kurokawa who was Caldwell’s former chief of staff. Gary Kurokawa signed off on the airport testing contract.

Testing experts said the optics are bad.

I saw a YT ad for HI Lt Governor that accused the candidate of corruption and being "in the pocket" of someone now being investigated for taking millions in illegal COVID relief funds.  The candidate supposedly helped that person get millions for NAVATEK in tax breaks.  Now that person has donated thousands to the candidate's campaigns.

Doesn't matter who the candidate is in the ad.  You can substitute any candidate and any big money donor, and the basic facts would still be close enough to be true.

I still believe there's a lot of money being made by the legislators who still oppose legalizing gambling ... in a state that flies gamblers non-stop to Vegas and back!
