Been to five of those.  Sekiya, Forty Niner, Palace Saimin, Natsunoya, and Teshima.  Went to Teshima for the first time about a month ago on a trip to the BI.  Was supposed to go to Manago many times, but either plans didn't work out or they were busy.

After all the years I've here I have been to only 8 of these places.

My memories of 6 of them.
Tasty Chop Suey was our fav. place to go after fishing at Nuuanu Resevoir.
Tip Top was always packed with people but the food was good. The owners of forty niner had aku bone on
the menu and they cooked it just like I wanted it. It has been a while since I last ate at Palace and Jane's.
Many retirement parties were held at Natsunoya. I will attend a reunion party there next year, god willing.
 


BI Olaa steak house was a great place for a steak but they shut
down many years ago. Too bad, I miss that place.
