SPAM Attack.
« on: November 15, 2012, 07:26:57 PM »
As far as me and Heavies go, there is really nothing we can do about this.  It's up to 2A to either ban these idiots, give us power to ban them, or figure out some other way.  While I appreciate the reports, my e-mail inbox can only take so much of it.

I tried clearing them out about 1 hour ago, now they have multiplied.  I would just hold off on reporting everything till we can block them lol.

software should be able to block IP addresses
i've been moderator on several boards before, i don't know how it works, but we had the ability to find out the IP address where the posts were coming from, and then block that specific address or remove some of the .### and block entire groups of IPs

Normally I don't mind at all, but I don't see an end to this :P.   I'm trying to track their names and then delete all their posts.

Like100 posts about where to buy floxicacam, difonlosine, expoygrow, enfluberime and a bunch of other drugs I've never heard of.

But KK can spell all of them perfectly while most of us don't even bother trying to sound it out  ::)
You don't have to be ashamed that you contracted a spam bot and got the forum spammed :P

Just wanted to say thanks to 2A, Funtimes and Heavies for having to deal with the Spammers last night. It is not easy and it is not fun to deal with this sort of person living in a foreign country. I have been dealing with these types since 2005. Good job!
