Now they wear ties and have law degrees.

I wonder which cops will "follow orders" and show up to arrest Trump?  Why would they allow him to turn himself in?  They want to parade him in cuffs to appease the low IQ sheep/voter base.

The long game is to keep him under indictment so he cannot run in 2024.  J6 incarceration style.  No right to a speedy trial.

I don’t think the Constitution has anything that prevents someone under indictment from running for president.  Pretty sure you can run even if you’re in jail…

I dunno why but I keep thinking about what Obi-Wan-Kenobi said in the first Star Wars Movie when he was about to be struck down by Darth Vader.

And how it reminds me of what is happening now with Trump.

Obi-Wan said (it went somewhat like this: )  If you kill me now I will become more powerful than you can ever imagine........

A reckoning of the demoRATS is coming soon.

Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

If an arrest warrant is issued then the cops will arrest him but it would not be about "following orders". An arrest warrant or other court order is served because the judge says so, the officer often has no idea the circumstances of the case and it is not really for them to question either. If it were merely an order from a supervisor the officer still has to know the details justifying the arrest because by arresting they are accepting responsibility so the officer should know enough to establish probable cause.

I would place money that they would let Trump turn himself in. He is a relatively low flight risk, a simple phone call to him or his lawyer would be enough to reasonably believe he would comply. It is fairly common.
