Won't be recovered.
Why do police need that much ammo?
 :wtf:
They are police, not soldiers.
Police should be like Barney Fife one round in a revolver.

OMG! I can't believe how many of the character's names I remembered reading that comment.

I assume you're referring to Mr. Kimble, the guy that worked as the agriculture agent?

He had a hard time finishing a thought/sentence.

Hank Kimball : Hello, Mrs Douglas! How are you?

Lisa Douglas : Hello, Mr. Kimball. I'm fine. Well, I'm not really fine. I have a little headache.
Well, it isn't a little headache, it's a... it went away!

Hank Kimball : I know somebody that talks just like that. Well, not just like that.
What was his name? Oh yes, it was... no, it wasn't him...

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Columbus Ohio PD ordered 160,000 rounds of rifle ammo.

Maybe I would understand it more if it was handgun ammo.  Handgun skills are perishable.  So there is that need for practice and training.

No, I'm the guy that served as a
senior NCO,
questioning why civilian police need
military capabilities.
